Hot Shot's Blazing Ember

"EMBER"

Ember is a Certified Demonstration Assistance Dog for the well known National Assistance Dog Organization Paws With A Cause(R). Her 'jobs' include visiting schools and community activities to educate the public about Assistance Dogs, and how they help people that are deaf or have physical disabilities. Some of her special skills include retrieving dropped items, getting the phone in case of an emergency, opening and closing doors, paying cashiers and alerting to household sounds such as the telephone and smoke alarm.

Ember is dearly loved by the Spears family in Lake Orion, Michigan. Her owner, Dana, a trainer for Paws With A Cause, attributes Ember's success to her outstanding temperment and workability. She's a dream to live with, and a great ambassador for PAWS(R) as she adores people and attention.

In her 'spare' time Ember also competes in World Canine Freestyle shows and 4-H obedience, agility and showmanship trials. She loves agility and 'dancing' with her partner, Staci, Dana's teenage daughter.

Ember's favorite play activity is chasing a tennis ball and watching neighborhood children, dreaming of the day when she can get them all 'bunched together'!
